YouTube Video Hits 500,000 Views

It was my 1st video ever and is a cow giving birth. Who would have thought. Still amazes me every time I see the counter.

Comments are all apart of it. They don't bother me anymore. You can delete them or I could hide the comments all together. If they understood, we had a couple of inches of ice...not snow...and the hallway of the barn was the only place she could go without the danger of having her newborn calf stepped on, they might be a little kinder. Also, in Texas most calves are born outside. Ice storms are an anomaly. If we had straw we would have put down in the barn. Some felt being born on dirt was a horrible thing. It flaked off when he dried off.

A lot of people are so used to seeing videos or movies of calves (being the black and white ones...) being born on the cleanest straw you ever did see, its no wonder they are so critical about that. It certainly goes to show you how uneducated most people are about this sort of thing.

Ah well, congrats on reaching 500,000 views anyway.
