Worlds cutest heifer

This purty little girl was born Wednesday to an Angus x Shorthorn cow that I have. The sire is my Gelbvieh herd bull. She might just be one of the prettiest newborns on my place. I really like the red tint though she will turn as black as coal in a couple of months.

Wanna have a contest. This little cutie is an Atlas gr dtr out of the angus bull Designers Pride. Her name is Ebony's Pride. She weighed 72 lbs and will be a month old on the 27th of March.

Hoss, you don't seem to understand. This is going to be a "trial". There will be a nomination fee, feed costs, progress reports, special care, etc., etc., etc.... And, don't forget to figure in transportation costs when you deliver. Oh, yeah, then, we will have to add entertainment costs, too.

Don't worry Doc. He ain't gonna beat that one. She's a'posin like a movie star at the Acadamey Awards! There might be better heifers out there but there ain't a better picture than that one.

BTW to be fair the two I posted are 1/2 sisters out of the same cow. This last one is from last year and she is still purty as a speckled pup, and just as sweet.
