I have recently discovered I have a cow with Woody Tounge and was wandering if anyone had any info about this disease. Thanks in advance.

Had a 3yr old show bull over 2600lbs and he lost over 300 lbs while we were trying to get him over this. It took a while before he got back on his feed.

Had a two year old first calf heifer with woody tongue this spring. Vet administered IV (sodium iodide) and I followed his instructions of 10 days of penicillin shots with no improvement.
After waiting the appropriate lenghth of time for drug withdrawal, she and her calf bought a one-way ticket to town and suprisingly brought decent money.
