So will it be like the problem black bears in the east. When they had problems with them they moved them to our area so we could have the same problem. They will say they are moving them to government land so its not a problem. SSS is the answer. And thats very hard to do. The officials will spend lots more protecting the wolves than they will paying for the livestock they kill.
Maybe they should do like they are with some of the illegals, and turn them loose where they live.

I'm all for restoring a balanced ecosystem with an appropriate wolf population. This is/was NOT it. This has about the equivalency of releasing Jeffery Damer back into society as a rehabilitated citizen.
So long as it is in YOUR ecosystem, community, yard... Otherwise, they can go down in history as a past problem.
What needs to be done are maps of all urban areas of the US showing past problem animals or wildlife that are not there now. Then make a federal plan to restore all of those species to the urban areas because they belong there. It is "their land". Once the buffalo roam in the streets and the wolves eat a few kids, the reality of the foolishness of forcing such problems on rural areas will be apparent to those who can smugly sit at home and feel great about forcing misery on others.

All the tourons could stay home and enjoy all the wildlife from their own backyard. I would guess the local stores
would be hard pressed to keep their shelves stocked with depends.

Gut shoot with a gun big enough that the bullet goes all the way through. Wolf runs off and dies somewhere else. Biological warfare. Turn puppies with known cases of Parvo loose near know den sites. There has to be other known canine ailment which would affect the wolves. It is a war. They have declared war on us. We need to fight back.

Nothing productive will be done until the people involved in wolf restoration are required to run their paychecks through a system of owning wolf prey. Make them financially invested in the realities and there might be some realistic understanding of where priorities lie.

Those are college educated idiots that only know what the books said. They have no real world experiences, nor do they even care.

Quite a fews years back there was a young gal that worked at Taco Bell. I would stop there are my way to an evening
class at the local college. She told me she had a degree for something, don't remember exactly what, but she had an
opportunity to work with Fish and Wildlife involving the wolves. I said that sounded interesting, and she said she left
because of all the of the politics involved.

SS and S the ones that aren't radio collared.

Interestingly, you can buy very nice wolf pelts shot legally in Idaho on the internet.

I'd like a wolf pelt for my collection of Red, Grey and Arctic fox and coyote pelt. Coyote pelts taken in the winter out of Canada are very thick and nice, looks great on the wall.

Our wolves are federally listed so not much can be done to control them.

SsS is great except that many are radio collared and send out mortality signals....
