The big and only talk around here (OHIO) is the game between the BUCKEYES and the LONGHORNS. Who does everyone think is going to win the game?

;-)

We'll be dancing in the street on Bevo Blvd while y'all are slipping that bush out of town.

Btw try to keep your mascot away from Bevo. His favorite pastime is tearing brush out of the ground. Especially ones with pretty yellow flowers on it. :P :D Z

One thing that OSU has going for it is that after they recover from the thrashing they're going to get tomorrow night in Darrel Royal Stadium they only have two more games to play this season. Iowa and Michigan. The rest of their schedule wouldn't scare the Luling High School Freshman team. Cinncinati??? Northwestern??? Pluueeze.Z

WHAT ABOUT ILLINOIS??!! Daggone it, we were 2-9 last year and are a good bet to DOUBLE our win total this year! I think we deserve a little respect. ;-)

P.S. I'll be rooting for Ohio State, but if somebody held a gun to my head and forced me to bet everything I have on this game.....................yeah, I'd put it on Texas.

Van... No disrespect meant but the truth is that OSU has 3 football games and 9 scrimages this year and the Horns have 9 football games and 3 scrimages.

Like I said Bevo Blvd is rocking. The Duckeyes, er sorry Buckeyes will be having nightmares about Mack's boys for a month. And even the Columbus newspaper is lauding Bevo and recording his history.Z

Know a ranch owner from Ohio. We have a trivial wager. Kind of a fun thing only. The world won't stop spinning if Texas were to lose, but I bet they wouldn't.

Kinda funny how none of ya'll longhorns fans made any comments here yet.

I will say that the young QB that TX has is going to be tough to beat before the end of the season. Lots of potential there.

Good game!!

I for one want to apoligize for last night. I know that OSU came down here to play the horns. I think they expected the football team and not the girls pep squad.Z

Yes, it was a good game. If they both run the table from here on out, we could see them again in the national title game. They're that good. Anyone who wants an idea of how defense should be played should watch the Buckeyes.

That would be a tough (lucky) road for the Horns. More than likely the Championship game would be between 2 undefeated teams. Lots of good ones out there. USC, LSU, Notre Dame, Okalahoma, Auburn, Oregon. I'm sure I missed a couple, but thats who comes to mind.

Before you scream about the Oregon hopes, remember were I'm from.

By the way, the Sooners had a hard enough time against a poor Huskie team, Ducks at Eugene over the Sooners!

Yeah, you're probably right. That's why I favor some kind of playoff, although I used to be against it. There are usually more than 2 teams that deserve a shot, even if they might have lost a game early. Remember when USC lost a game early a few years ago and then rolled the rest of the way? Heck, by the end of the season everybody knew they were the best team in the country, but they didn't get a shot because of that loss. And remember when Auburn went 13-0 in a tough conference and didn't get a shot because the computer said they didn't deserve it? If they can have 32 team playoffs in the other divisions then they can have a 4 or 8 team playoff in 1-A.
