I've got a 10 month old Angus steer that has a 6x6 inch square outline white/grey patch developed on it's front quarter Noticed it about 3 weeks ago. It doesn't seem to be irritating anything that I can tell yet. Should I have a vet look at it? Thanks for any advice.

if it doesn't bother him I wouldn't.. I had a calf with a white round spot on his shoulder, known as a milk spot

Like the hair turned white or a bald spot? Can you post a picture of it?

We have a calf born a couple months ago that has a small white/gray strip of hair above her eye. It was evident t birth, the mother is a solid black commercial cow and the sire is registered Angus the same mating last year resulted by n a solid black calf.
