Which Oster clipper blades to use?

Hi everyone!

I am going to be showing my first hair breed at Houston next month and I need to know which clipper blades I need to use. I already have the Oster Clipmaster clippers and the blades that came already on it. If anyone has any advice on which blades to use it would be greatly appreciated!

If you have never clipped a long haired animal before, you might want to see if you can get someone who is experienced like a fitter to clip him at the show.
Or find someone to help you before the show. Clipping is an art. It is amazing how a good fitter can transform an animal.

If it is a steer, then you will probably have to slick sheer him.

Chippie - Unfortunately hiring a fitter isn't in our budget.

Is there a Texas Lowline club or something similar? If so you might check into it. When our son showed his Braunvieh there several years ago, a fellow Braunvieh club member clipped his heifer for him for free.

I do belong to a local Lowline club and I'm sure there will be someone there to help me, I just want to be sure I have everything I'm going to need.
