Where to find Maine Show Cattle

My neighbor sells some through Jirl... We get his sale catalogs every year because of that, lol...We used a couple Buck bulls for AI one year, pretty nice calves, good growth, sold very well and calved with no problems. Saw both bulls in person.. One was offered to me and I came within inches of buying him but was at the point that I was done with Maines at that point..

I do not think this is a Maine Cattle exlusive, it is a show cattle deal. I bet there is as many High Dollar Angus heifers and bulls out there as Maine.

I have been at Griswold's and Collins sale for the past few years and they always have a handful that go in the $20,000 or more range but the average is more like $3,000 I am totally speculating but I doubt even 1% of cattle from the big guys bring $20,000.
