What is this ?

Coming home around 1a.m. Nine maybe 10 months ago I took this picture and had forgotten about it until tonight while deleting old pictures.

If you can zoom its I think a blimp. It’s I guess around a 1000 foot up in the air traveling about the speed you would exspect to see a Cessna airplane travel but is about the size and shape of a school bus. And as you can see that is if you can zoom in on the picture enough to see. Has a lot of bright lights along with a lot of red lights along the whole length of it.

I don’t think it was an airplane, maybe a chinook helicopter except longer in length than any helicopter I have ever seen. And I have never seen any aircraft’s with as many lights as this had. Thought maybe it was the space station orbiting earth but I would think it’s was flying too low for that.

Anyone recognize this as something they can think of ?

I see I see CH-47s almost nightly and that most certainly is not a Chinook.

You really can’t tell by looking at the picture that have enlarged but the pink color in the top part was bright red lights and the bottom side were bright lights like you see on spot lights but a whole lot bigger than headlights on say what river barges use. And all and all it wasn’t traveling real fast. Fort Chaffee is less than 20 miles from where I took this picture and it’s common to see flares during their training exercises but this wasn’t flares.

I am almost certain it wasn’t a weather balloon because it was traveling like an airplane in a straight line at a certain altitude like an airplane would travel. And it was as big as a commercial air liner but didn’t look like it had wings.

For some reason the picture I posted that you have zoomed in on isn’t as clear as the one I have on my phone when I zoom In on it and you was able to xoom about as big as I can on my phone but the picture isn’t near as clear for some reason. When I zoom in on the picture on my phone you can see the colors plainer, more clear and see more detail of the shape particularly the nose of it that looks like the nose of a commercial air liner. And you can also see that it was a very clear night in my picture where for instance in the picture you have enhanced the star is blurry. There are several bright stars in my original photo.

I know it’s some kind of air plane but just some type I haven’t seen before. And what makes it different than any I ever seen is all of the lights running the length of it. All of the red lights on top and bright spot lights on the bottom side. That runs the length of it. I saw this around 1:30 a.m. in the morning on my way home from work. Although it was dark it was a clear night and I could see the shape of it and I should have been able to see wings if it was a commercial passenger plane but am certain it wasn’t a winged aircraft which made me think it was some kind of helicopter similar to a chinook but it would have been the longest chinook I had ever seen. I had took that picture and forgot about it. Had intention of showing my wife and friends. Should be a way to see when I took the picture. Think it was maybe a year or so ago. Probably about the same time I was having problems with my memory and had Alzheimer’s and didn’t know it.

I see a lot of Air Vac helicopters traveling about the same altitude and direction this was traveling because it follows 22 hwy from North West Arkansas and connects several hospitals that has med flight services. I am probably wrong but I think the pilots can kind of look at high way traffic especially of a night by seeing headlights to navigate to a certain degree.

All of these symbols are listed as weather balloons even though they look like airplanes and other designs ? Are there weather balloons that look like thoes objects ? There are two symbols in that chart that sort of resemble what I saw. The middle row, 3rd and 4th images from the left looking at the chart.

And would weather balloons have lights running the whole length of them. Either one of the two in that chart that resembled what I saw would have had to have bright red lights on the top and bright spot lights on the bottom on

With this Alzheimer’s I probably missed a lot more than the font. I am by no means the sharpest tool in the box any more.

And I am not sure but you mean that the sarcasm is the fact that all of those images are told to be a weather ballon when people report seeing one regardless of what they saw ?

That photo I took was stamped August 22 2025 at 12:20 a.m. Looking back at things now that I realize myself and being confirmed by doctors I have Alzheimer’s I am sure that’s why I had forgotten I took that photo that night and never told anyone about it.

I don’t believe in flying saucers or visitors from other planets and I know this picture I took was man made but something I have never seen.

Illumination flares dropped from a US army CH47 over Fort Hood a year or 2 ago. Photos taken from back yard. It's a very common occurrence here, especially in spring when there's less chance of a streamer causing a wildfire. I've dropped quite a few myself in a different lifetime from a ch 53.. They may drift a little bit in the wind but generally it's strictly a vertical drop.

I see flares all of the from my front yard and watch them until they burn out. Lots of them at a time. And every now and then when I was at guard summer camp drills they would use them.

I don’t know if the military still or for any reason would use blimps but what I took the picture of might have been some type of updated version of a blimp.

Yup !!! “ Aorrowstats” military’s newest latest version of blimps. Bet that’s what that is. You can’t see it in the photo I took but that dude had more bright red flashing red lights on top
of it and flood lights pointing down on the bottom side of it than a macys day parade float or Christmas float of some kind !!!!

Damn I am glad to find that out. Wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for AI. It’s only a matter of time before they start putting restrictions on what AI can answer. It’s more up front and honest than the pope !!!

I forgot about that but saw where I had gave your post a thumbs up but after having just now read it again and have found out about the military’s use of blimps they now call aerostats you might want to look them up and see if that might have been what you could have seen. I briefly read about them but they use them for radar. Not sure what esle yet but I plan on researching them more in debth to see if I can see if I can find this particular model in the picture.

I could see more detail than the picture shows. But even in the original picture I have you can detect or see what I am going to call a nose cone shape on the front of where a cockpit pit or pilots cabin is. Like a commercial airliner. And the best I can remember I couldn’t hear no sound but as far away and high up I probably couldn’t have anyway.

But I could see where something like that could be of value to the military for its ability to travel in a stealth mode sort of to speak. All they would have done the night I took that picture was to shut its lights off and I would have never saw it.

Now that’s funny Ken. I have a very good friend that’s Catholic that I can’t help but tease him about his religion but have had to stop teasing and making fun of his religion because he doesn’t think there is any thing at all funny about it. And he has every right to feel that way. I know I shouldn’t pick at people and for the most part I don’t. But if it’s someone I consider a good friend. I can’t help but try pissing them
off by teasing them about something that I know gets them wound up,

And I don’t have nothing against Catholic’s or any other religions I just don’t want anyone to try and push their religion on me. I don’t try to push my beliefs on others and just expect them do the same toward me.
