My wife drives a 2007 Toyota RAV/4 Limited with a V6. It is a peppy car with 269 HP and 246 FP of torque. She loves her little RAV.

We are starting to think about her next car. I take 3 years to make a decision. :cowboy:

Our top 3 right now...

Jeep Wrangler
Ford Edge
GMC Terrain

We live off the highway about a mile of rough gravel road.

My wife has always been a truck kind of gal... currently driving a 2009 Chevy 1500 Z71. Last Christmas I bought her a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara... She likes it, but still drives the truck on a daily basis.

As you saw, our driveway is fairly (but not very) rough. Wife has a Ford Fusion that seems to be holding up well.

Bought a brand new Ford Explorer 4WD last Saturday actually. Had a Honda Pilot before that and really liked it. She simply wanted something different.

Bought the wife a 2015 Nissan Rouge last year and inherited her 2002 Rav4 as my daily driver.

2009 Cadillac DTS. We always buy used and the larger cars usually has less miles. She decides what she wants by how the seats fit her. Car companies do not realize that seats are very important for big azzed people. Also they need to do away with the console and put the gear selector back on the steering column where it belongs.

Mine drives a 2007 Nissan Rogue, and says in 40 years of driving a wide variety of vehicles it's her favorite. It's small enough that she can park it without problems, and large enough (and tall enough) that I can ride comfortably in it and don't have too much trouble getting in and out. We took it to Florida a couple of weeks ago, taking turns driving, with no problems. Got almost 30 miles per gallon. When this one wears out we'll probably get her another one.

We had to trade off an Edge for the door sensors continually going out and very expensive to replace ( Google ford door sensors)
I don't know if ford fixed the problem
We traded it for a 4 door Jeep Sahara and it was really nice for country living but at 75 mph on the hwy there is lots of wind and road noise.
Not enough cup holders, and that type stuff.
Not a lot of room and very little leg room in the back seat.
For what they are designed for they are great , but not for a family and travel but really nice when it gets wet and muddy
