Have a 3yr. old Angus cow that has two circular (dime to nickel size) semi bloody spots on her side about 3rd-4th rib back. About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed the first one and didn't think much of it, I figured she had probably just got into something in the timber and then the second spot popped up a couple days ago. Both spots are right next to each other and all hair is gone where both spots are. Both spots are identical in size and perfectly circular.

Any ideas?

Depending on what you mean by semi bloody I would say ringworm with the skin sloughed off.

That was my guess from the little research I had done. The spots aren't dripping blood or anything but there is a slight bloody/clear secretion on the skin surface. What would be the best treatment?

Iodine spray, or any athletes foot spray or treatment. Or you can just leave it and it will go away eventually.
