Satire and sarcasm don't translate well in forums. Passing additional ineffective laws only criminalize otherwise honest people. A man can rob a bank with a pistol and never be charged for illegal possession of an unregistered hand gun. Why create laws no one is interested in enforcing.

Ask the former residents of S. Africa what they thought of gun control. Ask the ones that fled ahead of "necklacing", anyway.
