Don't laugh. The dog is enormous. A Great Pyrenees who is 33 inches tall and the size of a small pony. The bull calf is about 2 weeks old and is a Charolais x Jersey cross. He is tall and long and was snow white when born. He will be delicious.

The second calf is a Charolais x Beefmaster heifer (born Friday, Sept. 19) pictured at two days old.

Love the second pic! That calf looks great for two days old. Nice short muzzle, which I love in my cattle...

I like the first picture best :)

FS, why don't you like long faces? I personally prefer longer snouts, I find it gives the cows a more feminine look, and I think it's a plus for calving ease. I certainly don't like 'blockheads'

After weaning the cows have tried to steal our dogs and turn them into calves. They are convinced my 170 pound hounds are theirs, not mine.
