Warm season grasses

I have this friend that swears by "Cave-in the Rock" switchgrass. Is this grass that good east of the Mississippi?
I know it matures late for the Ohio valley.

UK is really high on it. I hope it is good, as I am planting some Indian grass, switchgrass, little bluestem, etc next spring. Have just planted Oats as a covercrop on area it will go into - as cover crop wheat or rye will produce an alopathy.
