If you are around them lots when they're really young, I find it goes a long way to determine how they react to you as they get older... I have always had better success taming them when I was around right at birth.

That's nice when they are like that. My Brangus jump up like little antelope! I have to corner them to get that close.........until I halter them.

I just see a bit where he must have rubbed it off under his left eye, didn't see it on your shirt though
