Had another 1" of rain yesterday evening. Along with the 6" last week. It has been a great year so far after having endured two years of drought, with water levels in lakes and ponds at or near record lows. So far for the year we have received 33" of rain and the typical average for a year is somewhere around 35".

We had a flood warning yesterday, we got a whole 43 drops and my cows were doing the back stroke.

I know most people here in Alabama are getting excited with just the 20-30% chance of rain we are seeing predicted over the next 10 days.

Yea, well.........your gloating is about to make me sick!

I'm not meaning to gloat its just been really odd how we go from one extreme for such a long time to the other so quickly. ;-)

Dusty, I sure hope it doesn't dry up. From an extended forecast I saw this pattern is supposed to continue all summer where it's dry for a month or so then heavy downpours all at once.
