Vaccinating heifers

Heifers were weaned at eight months and received two rounds of Presponse and Cavalry. They will be put with a bull at fourteen months. Would you do a round of prebreeding shots?

Ours are always vaccinated and wormed again about a month before breeding season starts.

Ours get two rounds of virashield 6 + vl5 hb, in addition to the 8 way.

If you're gonna use modified live viral vaccines, be sure that you time them so that the last booster is given at least a month before you intend to breed them.
All they get here in the way of pre-breeding vaccinations is a 2-shot series of Lepto hardjo-bovis vaccine, and yearly booster.

We have always given them again a month before breeding but I just got to thinking about it and wondered if it was something that was necessary. Thanks for your opinions. That's what I was after.
