I spend hours on the computer reading everyone's posts and wish I had something to contribute.

We have not sold the house or the charter business in Florida yet. Market is very slow right now. Trying to run a charter business and trying to get the farm in shape and remodeling the house in TN at times is very stressful. Our place is very dry but not as dry as some other farms in our area. We had hay cut in the front pastures and we got 83 round bales, we still have over half of the pastures to cut.

Just thought I would let everyone know what is going on since I haven't made any posts lately and I can't wait to be on the farm full time and not on the ocean.

i know the market is slow in Florida. closing on my mother's house the end of next week it is in marathon,fl. good luck with selling your house.

Just do what you can do and don't worry about the rest. It will be there the next time. I would start getting stressed about all I had to do as we were moving and afterwards and my husband would remind me to relax and just take one thing at a time. I decided that I was going to enjoy life no matter what I was doing.

You will be on the farm before you know it. Your buyer may show up today, who knows?

Glad you are getting some hay made. It is so wet here that folks aren't cutting. I think the hay guys are going to be so far behind that it will be hard for those of us with smaller hay fields to get them cut. Not complaining about the rain though.
