Good Photos!!! I need to come see that Goldenboy son again. he looks awesome!!! His daughters should sure be easy keepers by the looks of him half way through breeding.

Mike yes we are in SD half way between Brent and BRG.

BRG I can't wait to get daughters in production either. That is the real proof for me.

Nice looking bulls Ace. Lots of length that will help in your repleacement heifers. The young bull seems to be keeping his condition pretty well. You can tell that he is starting to lose some of his baby fat if you look in his neck region, but his overall body condition looks good.

BTW, it looks pretty dry over there. I'll see if this rain that keeps threatening 2nd cutting alfalfa will move over your way.

lazy ace, Good bulls, I bet you got good doing calve from them.

Hows the weather out there? looks dry, Were bone dry up here.
Are cow calf ranchers feeding cows yet?

Lazy ace I'm dissapointed. I thought for sure your wife would make you post a picture of a hereford bull too. :)

Great looking bulls, both of them. Either easy fleshing or you only have him with 5 head. :P

Lazy Ace - Nice bulls! What is the top bull? BRG says GoldenBoy. If you have his Reg. #, I would appreciate it. What kind of frame score do the two bulls have? I really appreciate the fleshing ability of the bulls.

Very nice bulls! I would like more info on the top bull also. Looks like grass is short and he is still doing good.

Here is the registration number for the top bull 976768. He was turned with 30 cows that weren't AI'd and 37 more that had been AI'd. We run a 50 to 60 day breeding season, but this year it will probably be shorter due to the dryness.

Here is the registration number for the second bull 912833 he was at our partners breeding cows early and now he is with about the same numbers as the first bull.

The frame score on the first bull would be about a 6 to a 6.3. The second bull would be over 6.5.

Thanks for the compliments we just got back from checking water at a lease pasture. Cows will be coming home ASAP.
The moisture levels in this area are just as dry or dryer than it was in the dirty thirty's. The temperature for the next 5 days is forecasted from 97 to 105. We have not turned a wheel on any of our haying machinery. Things will get better sooner or later I am just hoping sooner.

certherbeef I have been thinking of a really good answer but got a little busy this week. The truth be told both bulls are herford, just amazing what a little red paint will do to make things look better. :D TTB is learning that good cattle come in other colors then red and white.  . Just can't help but give you some grief. I am just sorry I didn't answer sooner but my week has been a little bit "fired up"

have a good one

Really like the complete package of the first bull and sure wouldn't kick the other one out of the pasture.

Two good looking RA bulls. The 1st bulls seems to be holding up pretty well. The bottom bull is holding up well too, considering that he has already been busy with another herd of cows. Both have plenty of length and depth. and from what I can see from the profile they look to carry ample thickness. Many herds could benefit from using them.

Well, TTB must be a saint to put up with the likes of you!!! :lol2:
Hope the fired up week wasn't too serious and it is under control now. Sorry to hear about that.

And you know...I bet if you put the white face back on them there bulls, the'd be a whole lot better off! I bet they'd be happier too.

You are my hero, Lazy Ace. :)
