Anyone have any experience with a tree shear,I got a lot of post oak & mesquite on the places in S TX,and got some cedar to cut on the Hill country place,I am thinking about getting a New Holland skid steer loader on track and a tree shear,or a used dozer ?,Im leaning towards the skid steer loader just because of all the attachments.................good luck

You aint gonna kill them mesquites by shearing them off.

You are right, cant kill em just shearing em even with the ground, they make a sprayer that attaches to the shear, after you cut em you can spray them by pushing a button wired into the cab,use Remedy or like Caustic stated grazon..........good luck..............http://www.treeterminator.com/terminator.htm
