training show heifer

I have a 2 and a half month old heifer that i need to have halter broken and show ready in one month. I dont have a barn i can tie her in, and i dont really want to keep her away from her mother too much. She in not very trusting and i dont really know how to go about breaking her.... any info would be greatly apprecated.
