What size tires on it now? Should be able to do the math and see what a set will add. Drop the back of the truck if thats what your of a mind to. That should be easy enough. While it is not ideal like it is I have seen a lot worse.
Wouldn't ya know I just redid the carrier bearing too. LolI think this is the correct TSB for changing the blocks from 4" to 2". It has model numbers for the parts. Looks like maybe the mounting of the carrier bearing support may need some modification as well due to change of the angle of the drive shaft due to lowering. Might be helpful.
Unpopular opinion here, but if you don't mind working it....I'd buy one that's a few years old and make it pay for itself. In the big picture trailers aren't that pricey and you can easily tie up a bunch of money in an old one trying to fix it
For sure. Have to check when I'm near it this morning. Has a mismatched set now. What size tires on it now? Should be able to do the math and see what a set will add. Front springs are know to sag on these trucks. Probable seeing a bit of that ij the picture too. It'll get some stouter from springs one day. That should raise the front a bit. From the picture the truck height looks to be the biggest problem, but tires on the trailer will help some.
