Pulling trailer yesterday, lights work. Brake controller only works sliding the manual switch. Nothing when you step on the brake pedal. Green light on controller on. Ground or fuse?

Does the light change color when applying brakes? What brand controller? Possible loose wire from brake light switch or bad switch. Does the truck's brake lights work?

It's on a 02 Dodge Diesel 2500 if that helps...

On the left fender weld under the hood is a fuse & and breaker box. There are special circuits for lights and breaks ect. For trailers and aux. I know had the same trouble took it to the dealer they were running special wires said open in the harness. Found this fuse and circuit box. Only fuses blown.
