I know offset and spacing will dictate width along with soil type and bottom ground versus hill country. Through modest gently rolling hills what would you say a Case Maxxum 125 front wheel assist tractor would pull? I've been thinking about getting a larger old disk to pull in order to clean up some old pastures and reseed.

I have a MX 125, and they really seem to be able to pull more than you think. 15' span 9" spacing, with 22" blades would fit nicely in heavy stuff, and probably go up to 22', with smaller blades for light work. I have a 25' disk, but I haven't ever tried it, probably would pull it lightly without problem.

i wouldnt pull no more than 14ft disc with your tractor.the plowing disc we have really needs 130hp tractor to pull it.but we pulled it with 85hp tractor for years.
