Today's Tip: When it's been thundering and lightening, double check your baseball hat for metal rivets before going outside.
The situation ... I was out checking on the cows and it was very lightly drizzling ... I thought the lightening/thunder had ceased a few hours ago ... well ... when I get to the top of the hill, a ginormous lightening bolt strikes just on the other side of our fence (maybe a hundred yards away) ... a huge crack, the kind you feel the concussive pressure on your body ... and I feel the sizzle on the top of my head through the metal rivet that holds the little button on top.
With the wreck from June, this has been a most interesting last few months as it regards 'near death' experiences.
