I left a location last week and we had had a little rain. Its a windy... worn out... two lane road out of there. The back end started sliding on me in a turn with cars in the inside lane. I drive this road all the time and that has never happened before.

Maybe they slid cause you were going 111 mph in the turn instead of 110mph they were rated for :D Ya know sometimes we push things to the limit

My dad said I just need more junk in the bed.

There is a commercial on the radio that plays over and over. They say not to run on Maypops, to come and get tires at their place. Maypops...I find that funny..
Husband orders tires online and has them delivered all the way out here. He can sit down in the evening and place an order, and they'll be delivered by lunch the next day without paying extra shipping. Not always, but most times they get here the next day.

Well why not be a good little gal and go ask him which company he orders from.

I have run Hancook AT for years
They are imported though.
They are 10 ply and I almost never have flats and get 100k out of them.
They are around a 100 bucks for 17's

They do hurt my fuel mileage being so heavy so I don't know it if bought less tire and replaced them more often and got better fuel mileage that it wouldn't be cheaper

But the hancooks are good tires

Remember, you asked....We bought some skidder tires off a online auction. They are HUGE.. They were listed on a site that did not have logging equipment so no one was bidding on them.. I cant remember what we paid, but it was like 10% of what they were worth. Stopped to get gas and someone was following us to ask if we were selling them.. Had to go to west texas to get them. When you need a skidder tire, you need a skidder tire. I think it cost something like 6,000 if you have to buy a new one and have someone put it on. I know you think you're making fun of me, but, you're going to have to try harder. And yes, we do have a buttload of tires. We've never figured out how many, but its over 100 easy..maybe 200.. We have 3 semis, a bucket truck, 5 tractors, 3 side by sides, 3 4wheelers, 4 trucks, a car (mine), 2 stock trailers, 3 flatbeds, 3 log trailers, and then an assortment of hay equipment and other field things that have tires...The skidsteer has tracks, so, although rubber they are kind of tires..Oh, and my lawn mower we just got tires delivered by UPS...SO, yeah, we go through a lot of tires.....

No extra warranty 275/65/20 but remember it takes good tires to handle a real truck

Makes a difference....mine are 265/70/17's. Tires definitely make or break handling...truck rides good, just doesn't have the chunk of metal up front I'm used to. That extra weight helps plow through the rivers some of these highways have when it rains a little. :lol:
