I've never had much problem working on drum brakes, but then too, they are what I grew up with.
Till you twist off the bolts or strip out what ever oddball socket head capscrew pattern they come out with next. (torx, allen etc) and once the piston goes back, it starts pouring fluid out of it.A spring here, a spring there, clips and plates and cables aaaarrrrrgghh.
2 bolts 2 pads push the piston back 2 new pads 2 bolts done!
How well I know that scenario..........Losing power...
It's always at night.
Always below freezing
Always at the most inconvenient time.
Least I had the heater cranked up
Yesterday (1/1/22) Minnesota set year to date record high of 2 degrees.Always below freezing
On the positive side, they didn't take all the degreesYesterday (1/1/22) Minnesota set ytd record high of 2 degrees.
We are expected to break that record today.

And I've seen some real queer ways different manufacturers did their e brakes on rear disc brakes that made that old drum brake ebrake lever look like child's play..
Everyone is wired so differently. I'd rather be somewhere an hour early than to be 5 minutes late.
If you drive fast enough, you can be there before you even left home, and then work so fast that you can be back home before you started work.If I had time to drive slow I would feel guilty that I wasn't working hard enough. Not doing my part for the world. Probably buy some bottle calves or something.
Why are you hanging out in a parking lot???
