All I need is......

Hate to be a Debbie Downer... but I look at this just like I look at memorial statues for fans that died falling out of the bleachers, or like vegans shouting into the wind about animal abuse that they imagine instead of knowing what they are talking about.

I'm getting real tired of people using the flag in advertising and in ways that desecrate it by changing the colors to make protest statements, supporting police, or whatever.

It's covered by free speech, but it's still in bad taste.

I grew up in a generation that took the flag down and folded it carefully when it rained, and it was always brought in at night unless illuminated.

I was always that guy that would take seconds, instead of desert.

I love a good creation from scratch, sweet or not. I'm very picky about food.

We were poor growing up, sweets didn't keep you full for long.

My Little Debbie story: it was 1981, i was driving to high school, being responsible as always in my senior year....I turned on my left signal indicator to pull into the school...when in a flash i realized....there's no testing, no homework due, no track practice....so i turned off my blinker and drove past the school...headed to the store...got me a whole bunch of those little debbies, i liked the chocolate covered crispy ones the best and some drinks. I had decided to hike up a small mountain to think about...what i was going to do with my life at 18. It was a "my time-alone day...w/ little debbie cakes" to figure out what and where I was headed. I loved that beautiful sunny day...i gave myself a day off.

Bueller Bueller Bueller....

Chocolate is an essential daily necessity in our diets. The dinosaurs had no chocolate and look what happened to them.
