Just to be clear, I’m not complaining about my bill; I think it’s reasonable, and I’m already good on insulation. I was just curious if one of the settings had been proven slightly more efficient or if it’s mainly just for personal comfort. If one would save $5 a month, for example, that would be worth knowing.
I don't think it'll make much difference in efficiency.. A longer cycle time would be more efficient, but going those extra couple degrees cooler is harder work, making it a moot point... It basically comes down to comfort I think
