Thermostat degree span

My AC thermostat in my house has a 1, 2, or 3 degree span setting. Does anyone know if one is better than the other as far as efficiency and making the bill cheaper?

Insulation is a better investment. Before I sdded 3' of blown in fiberglass ours ran 500 a month during summer . 250.00 to 325.00 from June thru September now

Just to be clear, I'm not complaining about my bill; I think it's reasonable, and I'm already good on insulation. I was just curious if one of the settings had been proven slightly more efficient or if it's mainly just for personal comfort. If one would save $5 a month, for example, that would be worth knowing.

Drink 3 less cokes a week . Save 5 bucks and just be comfortable at home.

I don't think it'll make much difference in efficiency.. A longer cycle time would be more efficient, but going those extra couple degrees cooler is harder work, making it a moot point... It basically comes down to comfort I think
