Anyone use "The Wik" Backrubber for Flys? I just got one,and installed it and it works great. Only one problem. The insecticide saturated the backrubber, then runs down the large metal end cap that the lower chain is welded to. The insecticide then drips on the ground. There is a wet puddle about 12" in diameter under the lower end. Not a big deal, but the insecticide is expensive and I dont want to waste anymore than I have to.
Thanks!

Making your own solution is much cheaper than the ready-made brands. I use Pounce aka permethrin mixed with diesel. Last I bought was $75/gal and I mix 2-4 ounces of this to each gallon of diesel and pour it on the rub. Works good too.

And.... not only is making your own cheaper, have you ever read some of the warnings and instructions on some of the chemicals? I don't even want some of that stuff around me.
