Thanksgiving plan B

Help Support CattleToday:

We had planned on doing a turkey today, but after 3 1/2 days of sitting in the fridge it is still frozen. Looks like we are going to have T-bone's. Maybe by Sunday the turkey will be ready to cook.
Why couldn't the pilgrims have run into a 1200-pound Angus steer instead of a flock of turkeys? Plan B was a much better choice!

Last Sunday while doing our weekly shopping turkey was on sale cheap so we bought one. Cooked it that night. Been eating left over turkey all week. So today I took the ham. Counter in the old school has to be 25 feet long. It was stacked full of food. Plates and eating utensils on a separate table. And another table covered with pies. 40+ people but still lots of left overs.
