Dang Waco, we must have been pretty nearby to you last winter. We were in Falls county til Feb.
We are in Navarro County for now, in between Frost and Dawson. Doing most of our work in the DFW metroplex.
Still shop in Waco or Corsicana for most major stuff. Dawson, Hubbard, and Italy for little stuff. We cover alot of ground I guess.

Everyone in these parts are aware of that. Must have been headed south. A speed trap warning sign is posted on private property coming into town from the other direction.

Not the only town that utilizes them either.

CF we migh have to do something about it. All these Texas members we should have a big bbq party. CB there are several towns around here who love them speed traps. If you are ever in Central Texas watch out in Riesel, Lott, Woodway, and Beverly Hills major speed traps with a bunch of sorry cops.

Covington used to be real bad as well and there was another little spot Rio something
over in your area as well. Remember it had an air strip behind the local bank.
Oldest son farmed that country with his FIL over in Hill county.
Lot of revenue enhancement took place around there, be 60 mph
going uphill soon as you broke over the hill be 35-40 with Barney.
You would have to grind off the front bumper to break down speed in time.
Don't get me wrong we have ours as well your area just had a better breeding program.
Over our way Corrigan is bad state broke up the party at Zavala and Seven Oaks.
Zavala had a population of about 300 with 30 cops making a living off US 69.
I don't think Seven Oaks had a 100 residents but they were making a good living off of US 59 as well.

Rodgers used to be bad. Don't know if it still is. The school zone in Rockdale morning and afternoon, I've seen two work that on a regular basis. The 30 mph zone through town at night usually gets you just a warning....but not always. Caldwell has eased up on east 21 so 65 in the 55 isn't uncommon anymore. Funny thing is, these same folks will continue at 65 for miles after it changes to 75. Still can't figure why people speed through small towns but poke along on open highways.

That would be Rio Vista. I gotta Helluva story. About me and some buddies 30 years ago in rio vista.
it includes a bunch of beer , a deer, a borrowed shotgun , a madman, a judge in pajamas with a tiny pistol, a reported robbery, and a jail full of bicycles.

There is a spot up by Whitney where the speed limit makes a change in the middle of no where and DPS loves it. DPS in Crockett or the guy that was there is the early 2000s is a sorry pos. Seen them plenty up in Blooming Grove. Cops in Belmead are dumb, a lady rear ended me and I got a ticket because he was to dumb to figure out the company insurance policy and he didn't give her anything. I will never forget that little 5ft 250lb sob I wanted to ask him to put on a green coat and hat look like he should be on a lucky charm box. I agree Vett I hate it I slow down for Riesel or Lott and these people are ridding my butt then passing me but when we get out of town they don't even go the speed limit.

Sounds like a fine idea to me, Waco.

I do think blooming grove is worse than Frost, but dont forget to add Italy too.
I do believe Lott is the worst Ive seen ...so far anyway.
