Tell me bout Wyoming

My hubby is talking about taking a new job there. Just outside of Cheyenne some where.
I'm alittle nervous because I'm a desert rat and I hate to be cold. I love the heat. I guess you can aclimate yourself to anything but I don't know anything about that area.
I have been looking for property there and am not having much luck.
Anybody know about that part of the world??
