Take the good with the bad?

Just got back from a fishing and wreck diving trounce in the Keys. Rum and cokes with a fine cigar is a pretty difficult job but somebody's got to do it. Left pop in charge of the cows. Came home to a dead one with half a calf hanging out the back side. Sheez that was an expensive getaway.

That's tough. Wife and I are planning on a fall elk hunt vacation in October. Last calves are due Sept 15. We are planning on leaving our boys (age 13 and 15) with my mother-in-law in charge to look after the place. I don't even want to think about the possibilities for disaster!
