tail length?

We had our FFA steer grooming day today and I think I cut his tail too short. Does anybody have pictures of where the tail should be cut to? Thanks. Also, can you be docked for having it too short?

I will be out there again tomorrow and I will try to get a picture. It is probably about an inch or more too short. I have a month and a half before fair, how can I get it to grow?

Should be fine, yeah right at the top of the hawk is where I allways cut it off at, couple three weeks it will probily be grown out, I would worry ;-)
