I have seen this before over the years.
But I have pulled three calves in the last two days with it and thats odd. So I'm trying to figure out what it is.
The calves(fresh cut and worked off stockyard 600-800lbs) have been here between 7-14 days.
Starts with massive swelling around one eye. Then the ear drops- and the jaw drops-on one side only. Temp 104.5.No signs of respiratory issues. No signs of distress(move good ,stay on feed).
In the past I have treated with Nuflor- and eventually it straightens out.
Any ideas of what is going on???
