Stayability EPD Value ?

There is very little difference in the stayability EPD between the bulls I use. I looked back and the four AI bulls used last year have their EPDs ranging from 15 to 17. I would call these the same. If you look at some of the terminal performance bulls then you can can find some lower single digit EPDs.
So if you are already avoiding the terminal bulls and using cow makers - - what does this EPD really tell you ?

I think I remember that in the Red Angus it is an estimate of the cow's (Or bull's daughters')ability to produce 6 or more calves in her(their) life time.
