Split hoof

Hay all, guess now that spring shores are over, I may have some time to start to work on this cow with a split front hoof.

Was thinking all kinds of ideas, ie" epoxy, equestian glues and packing, blocks, etc............any one have any other and perhaps better ideas?

And yes, she was one of the deals i ran across for $100.00, as she had this problem and was a bit hunchbacked as well, (inbreeding I suspect) but darn it, she is raising a nice calf! So she has paid for herself a few times over already. :cboy:
 
Medic, I could send you an ox shoe and a hand full of nails. Be sure to post photos of the procedure. Tough without an ox sling.

Yep, If you have someone with a tilt table and some one who can shoe a horse it should hold until the toe grows out. pm me with your mail address and I'll send you some.
