I know this Pigweed thing has been beat to death.
But so have most all topics.
Anyway I took these pics today. This field was planted to Oats, Red Clover and annual rye grass mid May. [usually a good combination] I planted it in moist soil and it started off great.
Then 27 days of hot dry weather from June 2 to 30 without rain.
The clover disappeared completely and the oat headed out somewhat at about 6 inches tall. Then it rained and we had a couple moist warm weeks. The pig weed grew like crazy. These cattle been feeding on it for a couple weeks. Seem to be doing OK.
