If y'all have been on CT awhile you have heard me say that I live in Florida for a reason. I hate cold hate hate hate it. Needless to say the past few days have not been my favorite. The grandkids love it and have had a blast it is beautiful to look at but dang it's cold and wet and makes it rough on my old bones. The entire itis family has shown up to remind me of another reason I hate wet snd cold Arthur and Bur have shown up and shown out!

I feel your pain. It's not supposed to do that in southeast Texas either, but it did. Fortunately I didn't get as much of that as they got further south and east of me, or as much as you got, but I got enough.

The boss is glad it’s starting to warm up! We breed the group we pulled CIDRS on tomorrow. At least it won’t be a dang blizzard like it was Tuesday. I don’t think I’ve ever been that cold working cows.

Thanks most of them are in excellent condition, I have a few 14 year old girls that aren’t holding their condition as well as they once did. This cold has been hard on them.

Great cattle and great views! Those photos look like what them northerners post on here occasionally. we only got about a inch but freezing, finally thawed out today some.

This from this morning we finished up our AI work still a lot of snow on the ground still cold but suppose to start warming up this afternoon. Tonight they are still predicting freezing temperatures but after tonight it’s supposed to be out of here! I certainly hope they are right cause I’m over this mess!

This little lady shows a little chrome. Grandma is high pockets, our black Brahma cow , momma is out of one of our angus sires and high pockets . Only thing I can figure it goes back to grandma’s breeding ?
