Does a snake bite cause a cow to stop making milk

pretty open ended question without much information?

kind of snake?
location of bite?
other symptoms or reactions?
do you know snake bite is a factor?

Is it possible for a snake bite to impact milk production ? anything is possible
Will Obamacare help it ? again anything is possible
anything that can make a cow sick will impact milk production.

Does this apply to cottonmouthwaterratters too?

To try and answer the question, I would think it could. Had one get bit in the leg and it festered pretty bad making it harder for her to get around graze. She went down in condition some so I suspect it affected her milk production but her calf still nursed.

well she was bit on the jaw it is just kind of fleshing out now for lack of a better word and the ole udder is still a sagging............................i think it was a cottonmouth (i hate them so much)
