Thanx for all the info earlier on my brangus cow. I noticed that her drainage had quit and seemed her two bites(one between eye and lower jaw and another under her neck) were larger so I corralled her and a friend tried to lance/needle her lumps to start drainage again. They had become totally dry and very hard. He gave her 60cc of penicillin just in case but said that it seems the bites had just healed but not been absorbed into her system. She is eating with abandon and weighs at least 1050/1100 pounds. Thought you all might be interested in the outcome. If there is any other problem with her I'll let you know.
