sick calf

Never had it here. Wife worked at a lab that worked with bucket holstein calves while we were dating... They had cryto shoot through there while she was there... The odor was something that I could never describe.. Just god awful...

well the lil calf was doing great he was up jumping around and mooing at 6 am wanting a bottle fed him one and he drank a bunch of water on his own then quickly over a few hours went strait down hill. finally as he was gasping for breath and unconcious i ran him to my vet. he was next to dead .. they put a bag of electrolytes in him although the vet said that wasnt the problem i said what is it.. he pulled out a glucose meter and drew a lil blood, the poor lil thing was flat out of sugar he had a blood glucose reading of 19... he hit him in a vein with glucose and 50cc more in the stomach and he is standing on his own in the front yard now.... so where still fighting..
