Semen costs- Highlander Bull

I was wondering how expensive it is to buy semen and have A.I. done to a cow? Assuming the bull is fullblood highlander as well as the cow.

Also does anyone know about how much highland cattle are running in price right now?

Dont know much about AIing...Decided it was easier and more efficient to just let the bull do it his way.

As far as prices Right now in the Northwest you cant find a registered highland heifer for sale for less that $1500 or a registered cow for less than $2500. Bulls run $1000 for yearlings up to $3000 for a proven aged bull.

I have seen Highland semen From ten dollars a straw, up to one hundred fifty per straw...

Price of cattle depends on what part of the world your in and what your lookin for...
