I got an email notification today that a sex offender moved in right where the public school bus stop is. Some Mexican with a lewd and lecivious under 16 charge. Hes early 50's requires to register. There's no statute that prohibits them from being that close to a bus stop. Doesn't make it right though. Called the Sherrif who's records hadn't even been updated yet of the piece of shyts adress yet. No help there.
The house is owned by a lady who rents it out.she lives out of state. So I got on public records, got the owners name and searched them out. No easy task with the last name of Taylor. Using intellius website, clerk of the courts, and tax rolls I found the right owner and a valid phone number. Left her a message and she called back. She had no idea. Now I'm waiting for another call back with confirmation of action on her part.
