Sales tax exempt number in MN?

Hello there,

We have been growing field grasses for several years and just last fall completed fencing a pasture. We had 2 heifers arrive just a little over a week ago. When we go to co-op or farm supply to by seed or feed they always ask us if it is purchased for a farm and want our number. I've done some checking around and I can't find where to apply for this?

Exempt Farm Machinery | Minnesota Department of Revenue

The following list of farm machinery, equipment, implements, and other items are exempt from Sales and Use Tax when they're used in qualifying agricultural production activities. To claim the exemption, you must give your supplier a completed Form ST3, Certificate of Exemption.
