Hauled some 4 wt's heifer's this morning averaged 1.75, price's moving back up a little.

i watched part of the sale at hollis this morning on the internet and noticed the trend was stronger, not as good as your sale but better.
i had thought since we lost ground in the live cattle and future market the trend would be lower.
can't out guess'em

that is about where our top steer market is now. since the last week of june when they when't down 20 to 25 it has been better every week and i would not be suprised to go back to the top.

Still very few good cows going thru the sale barns here. And the few good one's are being bought by the meat buyers.
Seems you can't out bid them. Hamburger must be going up.

Highgrit same here. I haven't seen a cow worth having in two months and that was a sale out. The guy killed another guy and his wife had to sale all the cows to pay all the bills involved.

Seen some really good Char/Angus cross heifer's go through.
I am going to look at some Braford/Char girl's this week.
I have a few more old cow's to dump along with some heavies I picked up in the spring.
