Thats chilly! We started out with a wind chill of -28. We had -29 Monday. But after the sun came up today we had a ground blizzard with winds over 80 mph.

We wear ski goggles on the tractors. Open station don’t cha know!

Pea and lentil screenings pellets. They run from 17 to 22% protein. Lots of fat in them.

Just a shed we built. Rubber belting over a tarp on the floor. Shortly before calving we switch to alfalfa hay for added protein and convert the shed into a maternity barn. Feeding pellets in mud or dry dirt leaves too much waste. We roll up the belting and move it outside.
