Rough Year with Pinkeye

Several years ago we had a real killer of a pinkeye year. I think everything on the place had it at one time or another. We hadn;t changed anything. Same minerals, kept the pastures clipped before turn in, same fly control stuff. We haven;t had any since and the only chnage we've made is we vaccinate for pinkeye in the spring, even the baby calves.

What do you vaccinate with? (and don't say "a syringe")

We use Piliguard Pinkeye-1, Trivalent and it's only 2cc SQ per calf, cow or bull. We've had one case of pinkeye in the past 4 years.

Alpha 7 MB1 has the pinkeye protection in it. Kill two birds with one stone that way. Its a one shot Clostridial with the pinkeye. Always had good results using this.
